The base station was found in hardware setup but an error appears when using the keypad test or trying to poll. (This could occur with any hardware platform)
Cause 1: Computer is in docking station
Solution 1: Remove the computer from the docking station, reboot and try again
Cause 2: You have unused base stations defined on the hardware setup page.
Solution 2: Open the hardware setup page and remove any unused base stations.
Cause 3: You are using a G3 or G4 base station and have connected the power cord as well as the USB cable.
Solution 3: Disconnect the power cord. There is no need for power with USB. The power cord is for use with Ethernet only.
