Problem: No base stations are defined in the Hardware settings
Solution: Click Hardware on the OptionPower tab and click Detect/Verify if you have a base station connected to your computer. If the base is found, enter numbers in the low and high keypad fields to define the range of the keypad numbers you will be using. (i.e. if you enter 1 in the low keypad field and 10 in the high keypad field the system will accept responses from any keypads with a number between 1 and 10). Click OK to save the settings.
If you do not have access to a hardware system click Advanced Hardware Configuration, click Add New Base, on the Model menu and select any base type other than Virtual. The values in the low and high keypad fields should be automatically set to 1 and 10. If not, click in the cells and enter the numbers manually. Click OK to save the hardware definition and close the Hardware Manager.
