OptionPower Tab does not appear in PowerPoint

You know that OptionPower is installed, but the OptionPower tab does not display when you open PowerPoint

Cause: The software was installed under a different user’s name.

Solution:

1. Close PowerPoint
2. On the Start menu point to All Programs, OptionPower, Tools, and click User Addin
3. A status bar will flash very quickly on the screen
4. If you receive a “program compatibility” prompt, click “the software installed correctly”
5. Start PowerPoint and the OptionPower tab should be there

Cause: OptionPower or PowerPoint did not close correctly or crashed and the addin was disabled.

Solution:

1. Start PowerPoint
2. On the File menu click Options
3. Click Addins
4. On the Manage menu (lower portion of the dialog box), click Disabled items and click Go
5. If the OPBootAddin appears, click it and click Enable
6. Close and restart PowerPoint
